Once you’ve applied your filters and created a search, you can select the View you’d like to use by clicking the drop-down at the top-right of the screen or with the options under "Search Regulatory Database" on the left-side navigation. This article will show you how to use the four different Views.
CARD VIEW
Card View organizes all your search results into columns of cards containing a title, Key Date, Jurisdiction, Issuing Authority and a small snippet from the attached file (where applicable). To use Card View:
- Select Card View.
- Results are now displayed in tiles.
- To set primary and secondary settings (i.e. Authority Type, State, County, City, etc.) to group the results, click the SORT button in the top-right corner.
4. Once criteria is selected, click outside the drop-down menu.
5. Click the title or VIEW FILE to see the file information.
Tip: Card View is most useful to see if the file contains the information you are looking for and can help you decide which file to explore further.
TABLE VIEW
Table View presents the results in a table/spreadsheet format with rows and columns. The columns that appear in the table can be set using the CHOOSE COLUMNS button. To change the columns:
- Select Table View.
- Click the CHOOSE COLUMNS button in the top-right corner.
3. Select/Deselect filter criteria from the drop-down menu to include in the view.
4. Once the criteria are selected, click outside the drop-down menu.
5. You can also sort results in ascending or descending order using the arrows or drag and drop to rearrange columns (i.e. Title, Issuing Authority, Authority Type, etc.).
6. Click the Title to see the file information.
CALENDAR VIEW
Calendar View organizes files by day, week and month so you can see when things are happening quickly and easily. To filter by date:
- Select Calendar View.
- Click the DATE TYPES button in the top right corner.
3. Select/Deselect filter criteria from the drop-down list.
4. Once the criteria are selected, click outside the drop-down menu.
5. Click an event on the calendar to see a preview on the right side of the screen.
6. Click the meeting to bookmark the file, ADD TO CALENDAR or READ MORE.
Tip: Some of the most important information you can find in the Fyllo Regulatory Database are the various Meeting/Issue Dates assigned to each File.
TIMELINE VIEW
Timeline View lists files by date (i.e. Year, Month, Day) so you can easily navigate to past, present or future regulations. To filter by dates:
- Select Timeline View.
- Click the DATE TYPES button in the top-right corner.
3. Select/Deselect filter criteria from the drop-down list.
4. Once the criteria are selected, click outside the drop-down menu.
5. Choose a result on the timeline to see a card preview.
6. Click the title to see the file.
Tip: You can use the ADD TO CALENDAR and BOOKMARK button to view the file later.
